It is very common to have questions before booking in for your procedure and hopefully our FAQs will help put your mind at ease.
Aftercare For Botox
No rubbing or massaging of the injected area for 4 hours after treatment, including facials.
No strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
No sleeping on your front after your procedure.
Avoid headwear that is tightly fitted across the forehead.
Avoid use of alcohol 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid use of the sauna/ steam rooms/hot tubs and excessively hot showers for 48 hours after treatment.
Are there any side effects?
Very few side effects have been known to occur. You may experience mild bruising, numbness, or tenderness at the injection site. Some people may experience a mild transient headache. There is a very small risk, less than 1%, of developing a temporary drooping eyelid when injecting close to the eye. After care side effects will be provided in full prior to your treatment.
How long will my fillers last?
This depends on a number of factors including the type of filler used, where it has been injected, how much filler you have had previously and how active of a lifestyle you lead. Normally fillers can last anywhere between 6-12 months.
Are fillers reversible?
Yes, hyaluronic acid based fillers can be immediately reversed with the use of enzyme hyaluronidase which can be used to dissolve any unwanted filler in 1-2 sessions depending on how much filler has accumulated over time
